What to tell us?

• Your typora version and OS version
• Descriptions about the bug, if you don’t want to type, just throw us a screenshot is also OK.
• A way to reproduce the bug, or a sample file that may trigger the bug is very helpful for us. We will appreciate it if you can find it and tell us that. If it cannot be reproduced, then anything that may relates is also very helpful.

Logs

For critical bugs, like crash, or content loss, the log file may be helpful. You could find logs in

• macOS

  Open Console.app and type “typora” in the search input.

  Or see details here.

• Windows

  typora.log under C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Typora, or click “Open Theme Folder” in preference panel, and find typora.log on its parent folder.

• Linux

  Click “Open Theme Folder” in preference panel, and find typora.log on its parent folder.

If you want to send us log (which is very appreciated), do not attach it in Github for privacy concerns, please email to us directly. The log file should not contain any sensitive data, and we will only use it for debug purpose and will delete it asap.
